History
Our building dates back to 1822, back to the time of Friedrich Wilhelm III. - and as such it is one of the oldest buildings in Berlin's historical city center. The neighborhood is the so-called „Luisenstadt", named back then after the Queen Luise. Have a look at Google Maps and you will see that The Dude is right in the center of Berlin. Famous landmarks such as the Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstrasse, the Museumsinsel, Schlossplatz, the Rotes Rathaus, Alexanderplatz and the river Spree are right around the corner, as are a number of top restaurants and clubs.
We believe that hospitality is compassion, that it is not servility but genuine concern
for others' well-being and the ability to live with empathy.
